Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in general maintenance or trade work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Working knowledge of basic tools, hand and power equipment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience with work order software (BlueFolder or similar) is a plus!
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly
- Must be punctual, dependable, and respectful in client environments
*Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical systems are a plus
- Familiarity with any property management software
- OSHA or safety training certifications
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections across various residential and commercial properties. This role requires a well-rounded skill set, professionalism, and the ability to manage tasks independently while providing excellent service to clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to assigned work orders for general maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and appliance issues.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on property systems.
- Patch drywall, paint, repair flooring, and handle minor carpentry tasks.
- Install fixtures, signage, and other property equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time, materials, and photos via work order software (Bluefolder).
- Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients about repair timelines and job status.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with applicable codes.
- Keep company tools, vehicles, and job sites clean and organized.
